Wacker Neuson acquires Enar Group

Wacker Neuson has reached an agreement with the majority owners of the Spanish company Enarco S.A. to acquire up to 100% of the Enar Group. 

Enar makes light construction equipment specialising in concrete compaction. Its product range includes poker vibrators, vibratory plates, rammers and walk-behind rollers for soil and asphalt compaction. 

Enar manufactures its products in Zaragoza and operates globally, with a strong presence in the European and Latin American markets. 

The acquisition will complement Wacker Neuson’s existing concrete equipment range (pictured) and extend the group’s international reach. 

Subject to regulatory approval and the completion of the acquisition of all shares from individual shareholders up to a certain threshold by the Wacker Neuson Group, the transaction is expected to be closed in the first half of 2022.
